What is laparoscopic myomectomy?
Myomectomy is a surgical procedure to remove uterine fibroids noncancerous growths of the uterus that often appear during your childbearing years. The surgeon's goal during myomectomy is to take out symptom-causing fibroids and reconstruct the uterus. Unlike hysterectomy, which removes your entire uterus, myomectomy surgery removes only the fibroids and leaves your uterus intact.

Laparoscopy describes a group of operations performed with the aid of a camera placed in the abdomen or pelvis. The laparoscope allows doctors to perform both minor and complex surgeries with a few small cuts in the abdomen. This technique is known as laparoscopic-assisted surgery. Endometriosis
